Hong Kong, 18th June, 1928.

Sir,

As the Macau Government is desirous of

importing from Persia 100 chests of Persia Opium in conformity with Article No.6 of the Geneva Convention signed on the 11th February, 1925, I have the honour to request you to kindly inform me whether it would be in order to obtain the necessary permit to have the opium transhipped from this port to Macau.

This opium is intended for the use of the

Macau Opium Administration.

I shall be obliged if you would kindly let me have a reply at your earliest convenience.
